First Aid Course in Winter Mountain
Course content:
- Assessment of alleged dangers found in the mountains and injuries they cause (cold, the altitude, lightning and poisonous animals).
- Appropriate equipment (las 3 layers, what to buy and what to avoid).
- Most frequent traumas found in the mountains.
- Immobilization and transfer techniques.
- Making improvised stretchers.
- Victim in critical condition (TCE, pneumothorax, severe hypothermia, hemorrhages, shock).
- Priority care (valuation, CPR maneuvers in isolated areas, endotracheal intubation, road taking, sutures), Particularities of Life Support in mountains and isolated areas.
- Practical tips to avoid accidents.
- The mountain emergency.
- When and how to request rescue teams and their correct action.
- Communications and distress signals (by land, air and maneuvers with helicopters).
- Knowledge and basic handling of specific mountain rescue material.
- Transfer of victims in the mountains.
- How to make a mountain first aid kit for small outings or long expeditions.
Duration:
1 day. A total of 7 hours of practical and theoretical training.

To specify. Practical and theoretical sessions in different places in the Sierra de Guadarrama, according to conditions.

Our activity requires a minimum of 3 personas, and we guarantee a maximum of 7 participants per course.
What would happen if the minimum number of participants is not reached??
Unfortunately, Every activity requires a minimum number of participants to be able to make it effective.. If you do not reach the minimum number of participants to make it possible, don't worry., we will give you two options: or we will refund your money in less than 24 hours, or we will postpone the activity until we reach the necessary participants, moment in which we will all choose a date with which we all feel comfortable.
