The environment:

The Summer climbing and mountaineering camp is located in the natural environment of the mountain and rustic town of Peguerinos, more specifically in the mountainous area of ​​Peñas Blancas. A beautiful natural enclave ideal for developing all kinds of climbing and mountaineering activities and disciplines given its rugged landscape.


Facilities:

The Summer climbing and mountaineering camp will take place at the facilities of El Camping Valle en Medio.
The location of the spacious CAMPAIGN SHOPS where we will stay, they are found in the large pitches reserved for camping, being the pine forest its location.

The camping has TOILETS Y SHOWERS that can be used freely. A wide tent that is used as DINNING ROOM Y KITCHEN ROOM. I have a great POOL where to cool off in the hot hours. Along with multiple TRACKS Y LANDS sports where you can play a variety of games.

Planning

The Summer climbing and mountaineering camp we will find a wide practice of different climbing and mountaineering disciplines that we will program and plan according to the duration of the camp.

 

Friday 17:00 to Sunday 20:00. 3 days and two nights.

Friday afternoon
-Order and camp setup.
-Interactive games of dynamization and group integration.
-Theory and history of climbing.
-Rope Practice.

Saturday morning
Practical learning of the basic maneuvers used in pulley climbing on natural rock.
Correct realization of the double eight.
Correct placement and operation of the Gri-Gri as a belay element.
Correct positional descent of the climber and correct descent maneuver by the belayer.

Saturday afternoon
Theoretical and practical learning of first class climbing.

CLIMBING
Within the climbing modalities, it should be noted:

Classic false first climb.

-Artificial climbing

TREKKING and ASCENSIONS

RAPEL

TYROLINE
The practice of zip line consists of the guided descent using pulleys and previously tensioned rope systems, we will descend steadily, from a higher part to a lower part.

ORIENTATION
Orientation practices consist of learning how to use the map and the compass along with their different nomenclatures and signs., so that they serve us as an orientation element in the mountains.

VIVAC
It consists of the unique experience of sleeping in the open air together with our sleeping bag and mat, flush with the ground and having as a ceiling, the starry sky. We will spend the night near the top of Peñas Blancas, in a wide esplanade with views of the mountains.

Camp Games
Like all camp, In it we will carry out a series of different complementary games that help us in the dynamization and integration of all the members of the group, in learning cooperation and teamwork that we constantly find in mountain sports. Having as the main theme of the game the mountain and its inhabitants that surround us.

Nature Classroom
During the camp, a series of learning and discovery workshops will be carried out on the flora and fauna found in the central system, as well as through games., the knowledge and basic notions of mountain meteorology. Along with an animal footprint identification march that we will carry out in the forest itself, to know first-hand which animals accompany us, making known the values ​​of conservation and care of the environment.

During the activity
- Families will not be able to visit their children during the development of the activity except on family day.

Participant rules

The campers are installed in consistent tents divided into groups of 5 approximate participants per store. The distribution of the campers, it is done for ages, and each store is in charge of a specific monitor.
